2 Ways To Make Your Off-Road Trip A Blast

“Boom, haha!” What’s more explosively fun than delving through the worst of what the wilderness has to offer and coming out on top?

Ways To Make Your Off-Road Trip A Blast

Besides, perhaps, triggering a block of dynamite and watching it blow everything within a five-meter radius to smithereens and shrapnel.

Watch out, though!

Sadly, unfortunately, and depressingly, the prospect of playing with explosives is legally prohibited in almost every state (and please let me know if it’s not so!), so we have to settle for alternatives.

Going off-road might not be literally explosive, but I’ve written this article to encourage your mind to be creative!

Although you might not be able to shoot 120mm rounds out the back of your rig and make potholes in the ground, you can settle for these next few suggestions and have (almost) as much fun.

I’ll say no more. Read for yourself! If you’d like to learn more about the topic after the article, then also feel free to explore Rad.Parts!

How Do I Make Off-Roading Fun?

Going off-road is already loads of fun, so if you need to make it even more entertaining, then I can’t help but question what sort of person you are. A crazy one, that’s for sure – and one that knows how to enjoy themselves!

For that, I wholeheartedly congratulate you. Let’s push the concept of “fun” to the limits! Please remember, however, that we must take care of the environment and Mother Earth regardless of how much fun we’re having.

After all, there’s no point in having fun at all if you’re the reason your state might enact an off-road driving ban on certain areas. Yes, it’s happened before, and it’s going to keep happening as long as people keep discarding trash onto designated trails.

Without further ado, let’s see what we can do.

1. Race Your Friends

If your buddies have off-road rigs as well, then what are you waiting for? Challenge them to a race! Mind you, this should be done on a designated trail and not haphazardly.

Racing anyone should be a very planned matter since it is very probable that one of you might get hurt or damage their car without safety measures.

Once you’ve found a trail in your area that is not only properly organized but also watched over by an off-roading association (as is the norm), then ask the staff how you could go around with setting up a race. They’ll no doubt you how you can get that going.

Don’t expect it to be easy, however. If you don’t have any specialized training, extensive experience, or a whole lot of luck on your side, then your race can go quite badly. While I certainly hope you’re not going encounter any difficulties, there’s always a chance you might total your car.

But let’s not think about that. Just be safe! And if you’re taking ATVs to the race, then maybe you should consider turning yours into a bonafide predator. How? Make your ATV wilder with Arctic Cat Wildcat accessories!

2. Blast Your Music

Hell yes! You’re already driving an off-road vehicle and thus making a lot of chaos. Why not add to it by outfitting your car with a sound system?

As if immense wheels with aggressive tread patterns weren’t enough, putting a subwoofer in your trunk is liable to turn your rig into a flame-spewing dragon.

Or, perhaps, a soundwave-spewing dragon.

Please note that this should be done responsibly and in areas where you are not going to cause any noise pollution. However, if the area is free game? Turn the music so loud you’ll risk deafness. As Kanye West once said, “YOLO!”

Depending on your tastes, good music can really enhance the experience. Many people like driving off-road because they feel powerful. Therefore, feel free to pick your power anthem and let the terrain hear it!

Please Off-Road Responsibly

While off-roading might give you the impression that it’s a motorsport for people who don’t care about anything, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Although we’re all in love with the feeling of dominating the terrain, the truth is we’re also responsible so that off-roading remains accepted and uncontroversial.

Therefore, regardless of what you read on the internet, please always remember to drive responsibly!
